Certification Guidelines
Participation & Certification Guidelines.
These guidelines are designed to ensure that everyone uses the Never Give Up Day Certification and branding in a consistent, respectful, and inspiring way.
1. Certification Period
Your certification is valid for one calendar year from the date of purchase and may be renewed annually.
2. Using the Certification
As a certified organization, you may use the Never Give Up Day Certification mark, name, and logo in accordance with the certification level you have obtained and the branding guidelines provided.
3. Organizing Activities
Your certification allows you to organize Never Give Up Day activities, campaigns, events, or a Walk of Perseverance that reflect the values of the movement and help bring your mission to life.
4. Keeping the Spirit of the Movement
Never Give Up Day is built on perseverance, hope, respect, and inclusion.
Activities using the Never Give Up Day name or logo must not promote hatred, discrimination, violence, pornography, or any content that conflicts with these values.
5. Independent Organizations
Certification does not create a partnership, joint venture, or legal affiliation with Never Give Up Day. Each certified organization remains fully independent and responsible for its own activities.
6. Large-Scale Campaigns
If you are planning a national or international campaign, or an event expected to attract more than 25,000 participants, please contact us beforehand so we can coordinate and support the initiative where appropriate.
7. Brand Guidelines
The Never Give Up Day name, logo, and Certification mark remain the intellectual property of Never Give Up Day and should be used in their approved form unless written permission has been granted for a variation.
8. Responsibility
Certified organizations are responsible for ensuring that their activities comply with all applicable laws, regulations, safety requirements, and any permits required in their jurisdiction.
9. Protecting the Movement
In the rare event that the Certification or Never Give Up Day branding is used in a way that seriously conflicts with these guidelines, Never Give Up Day reserves the right to withdraw the certification and the associated permission to use its branding.
10. Applicable Law
These guidelines are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Bruges.
